4 months

Only four months since my last update - this is pretty good for me. Often I’ll start some sort of journaling effort and get sidetracked (I did it here). About 2 years later I’ll discover the long abandoned chronicle and take a little trip down memory lane. My abandonment is normally brought about by sheer laziness - this time I think I’ve got good reason. I’ve been freaking busy!!

First, I’m the mom of a twenty one month old. That sometimes freaks me out. She’s so much busier than I’d ever expected she would be. And, she’s funny!! She makes me smile all day long, and (I suspect) all night long, too (I don’t want my husband to take any pictures of me in my sleep though, so we’ll leave it at suspicion).

Bailey’s prone to ear infections, so she had tubes put in just under two months ago. The lack of ear infections in that period of time has been nice. The new ear infection that just started is not.

I’ve picked up more hours with work - I’m now writing full time PLUS. This is great for my shopping enjoyment, but it’s also exhausting.

The 20/20 program. I’d mentioned it in an earlier entry. We’re now 16 weeks down the road, 40 lbs. lighter (Adam is 45 lbs. lighter) and getting ready to run a 5k on Sunday.

Finally, I took Adam to Vegas for 40th birthday. So what did Bailey do while we were whoopin’ it up in Sin City - visit a salon, you ask? No, visit my sister (almost the same thing). If there’s one talent my sister has it’s sitting little girls down and doing their hair. Bailey ended up with numerous hair styles. I think in this photo she’s announcing, “I just need my coffee”. If you saw me right now you might think that I was announcing the same thing!!

So - will it be another four months? Could be. I think I’m going to aim for 3, though - you know, shoot for the stars!!
